What's it all about? I have zero idea. Just trying to upset Photoshop by throwing as many layers at it as I dare. It didn't crash. It didn't stutter. Thanks to Scraggie, Bren, Hugh Jarse, Jimmy Mac and Wombat for all the suggestions.

Contextually, would Photoshop even wear a great shirt? I think, perhaps not!

I get menus for Indians, Chinese, Burgers, Chicken, Kebabs, Pizzerias, almost every day. Not even hungry when they arrive. This is not me, BTW. I just put the menu's in the bin.

Just another pointless doodle of doodling pointlessness. I don't know why I think this is a cartoonist. It must be the jumper. It doesn't fit. Like the legs on this one. They just appear without any obvious connection to the rest of the figure. Hmm.

Hilarious photo of my cat

Herbie sat on the shed roof.

I have been waiting to get this shot for a long time. At last, today I was in the garden with my camera, and so was Herbie (the perfect combination for cat/shed related photography).

Alternatively embarrassed.

This was the other cartoon (with the giant hand) that almost got posted on the CCGB site. I don't know why they are both bottom based this week. Not intentional. Promise.

Using virtual pencils.

Have been playing around again with Photoshop. It seems, no matter how long I use this software, it always has something new to offer. This was drawn at 200dpi, using these brushes to draw the rough drawing. It's a collection of very good "pencil" brushes for Photoshop. Although this isn't actually a pencil brush. That was under the previous layer, which you can't see.

I also played around with making this a 4 colour GIF.

But I like the effect of the 4 colour best. Thanks to Mr Steve Bright for providing the link to these excellent brushes, and of course to Dave Nagel for the brushes.

What happened there? I have no idea. This is what happens when I don't have any ideas for a cartoon and I experiment with my Cintiq. Hmm. Interesting. Not sure what use it could possibly be to anyone, but I hope you enjoy it. Let me know what you think, using the comments feature below.

Well that didn't go too well. Very poor score in this week's contest. This is the alternative cartoon I would have posted, had I thought of it at the weekend and not just now.

I will post this to the forum when the scores are in, giving everyone the opportunity to say that they would have voted for this as their top cartoon and would have almost certainly won this week! I suspect that my other cartoon was too similar to another cartoon already posted in the contest, but I couldn't remember when that would have been posted.

Well, that's it for 2011. No more cartoons from me. Not until 2012 anyway, when I will be mostly drawing more old people for the CCGB caption contest. Old people and Nazi's. Brilliant subjects for cartoons, and always guarantee me a massive score on the contest. In other news, I'm also going to start sending more cartoons off. I've been a bit slack at doing that lately. No house move this year should help, but it was a smashing excuse while it lasted.

Anything I accidentally give up in 2012 will be declared a resolution, after the fact. Fingers crossed. See you in 2012. It's going to be MENTAL!
